Rest in Peace Squirel!I usually would not post photos of a dead anything, but Hannah and I were shocked how perfect and peaceful he looked. Several people stopped and looked because when driving you really weren't sure if it wasn't a live animal. Even the tail is perfect.

Poor little guy! He does look very peaceful. I saw something very similar the other morning. It was on the highway though, so no stopping to check it out. But I could see his tail fur blowing in the wind.
The number of dead animals on the highways disturbs me greatly. I feel so helpless. But I always say "God bless this little animal" and it eases my heart just a little.
