She gets it tonight... :) SSShhhh, it's a surprise! LOL

Todd stopped at Fry's Electronics on his way to the office to come home and he bought Hannah and my Dad Samsung S630's. I have to say... what a Dad! He was saving up to get his Slip Yoke Elminator (?), jeep part, but did this instead. LOL

So, we are going on a little road trip this weekend, or as I like to call it, Photo Safari Time, and we will get to view the trip through Hannah's eyes. :) How much fun this is going to be. I love 3 day weekends!! In Todd's case 10 day weekend. He will be taking 3 extra days off to turn it into a 10 dayer... Oh my gosh, to think we will get done in that 10 days, school work and more school work. ;)
Thank you all for your advice on the camera thing for Hannah and I hope this one will be a good one for her.

Ever wonder what Todd does?

This is it... he sits on the back of this an operates the drill. Where they are at this week it was 115 outside and 145 on the back of the rig... OUCH!! They are drilling 100 ft. holes to get soil samples to build a road.

See the white hose looking thing, that is where he sits. (I really don't know too much about it). :)

A Tree for Her and a Tree for Him

Dainty Tree

Masculine Tree

Noticed these trees directly across from each other and how totally opposite they were.

God Bless America!!

What more needs to be said!
God Bless America...

Poor Squirel

Rest in Peace Squirel!
I usually would not post photos of a dead anything, but Hannah and I were shocked how perfect and peaceful he looked. Several people stopped and looked because when driving you really weren't sure if it wasn't a live animal. Even the tail is perfect.

What do you see?

This photo, to me, said it all!! Look out and see what you can see.
This photo was an accident, or at least I thought it was, until I really looked at it.
Hannah and I are finishing up around the house and we will be going on our Safari.
The inspiration for this is many... My love of picture taking... Hannah's adventurous spirit... And finally Debi Cate's Photo a Day blog, absolutely wonderful.
She has many links to other PAD blogs, and they are just as wonderful.

What a morning... Hannah and the Heli.

Again, while we were tootling around, we saw the Life Net helicopter landing at the hospital. We went to watch it land and saw that is was not for an emergency and asked if we could take a photo of the helicopter. The pilot said, "I can do one better than that! You want to sit in it?"... well of course and all of Hannah's shyness went away for the moment.

What a great morning!!

Watch photo safari!!

Where does Santa vacation? Well, AZ of course!

We took my Dad to his doctors appointment this morning and while waiting we drove around for a bit. As we were driving past the newspaper, we spotted him, it was Santa.
Santa was buying a paper and we had to stop and say Hi.
Santa informed us that is only 188 days until christmas... I could hardley believe it!
The cutest Santa you have ever seen!!

Hannah's plans for tomorrow...

Hannah and I were discussing our plans for tomorrow
and we have come up with a wonderful idea...
A hometown photo safari. We are both so excited and have made a list of photos we want to take. So check back and see what we found around town.
Tractors, cows, barns, horses, plants and oh so much more. :)
