This is it... he sits on the back of this an operates the drill. Where they are at this week it was 115 outside and 145 on the back of the rig... OUCH!! They are drilling 100 ft. holes to get soil samples to build a road. 
See the white hose looking thing, that is where he sits. (I really don't know too much about it). :)

Well, wadda ya know! He's drilling? I thought he was doing something with computers! Sheesh, we should stay in better touch! LOL
Actually I have wondered what he did that kept y'all on the road. Now I know. I had no idea that this was even done, but it makes sense!
This is just a stepping stone job. He is going to school for network admin something or another... :)and wants to continue working for the State.
