Introducing Charlie...

Hannah and Charlie (notice the pinching going on by Hannah... (she started that before she was born, no lie!!)

Max isn't to sure about Charlie yet... :)

Hannah and Charlie playing... what a goof ball.

As I was typing the last post Todd and Hannah called me from Wal-Mart and look at what they brought home... His name is Charlie. He is Golden Retreiver/Lab.

So much for my clean house... LOL

Did Mom tell you she used to have a golden retriever named Max? He passed away a little over a year ago. More coincidences? Ok, so You have one dog named Max and another that's part Golden retriever.

But look at that happy puppy! He's loving all of the attention from Hannah. Hannah looks just as happy.

What is the pinching? What all does she pinch?

Hannah... well she was born in the water and as soon as they brought her up to me she started pinching me. The midwive and nurse said she had to be doing that in the womb as good at it as she was. She hasn't stopped and she loves to pinch our cats right under their chins and legs. She pinches us in the crease of the arm, neck or any where warm. I noticed, two years ago, at a school performance, that when she is nervous she pinches herself as well. I am guessing it is a form of security, like sucking your thumb, etc.. She hasn't stopped, but has gotten better about pinching us. :)

Todd always says that we wont have to worry about boys ever... the pinching will detour them. HA!!! lol

The little pincher, what a strange and wonderful daughter! Born in the water? Do tell more. I love Charlie and Max. Every girl needs a dog or two (or five as in my case).

Hey Bobbie... we have 3. :) No more though. If we want more we will have to move first and get more land, oh yeah, get away from ourneighbors. ;)

The pinching is fascinating. Katlynn loves to put her hand in your arm pit when she is trying to comfort herself, usually at bed time.

When Antigone was in the hospital and Katlynn was having a hard time sleeping in a strange place without her mom, I offered her my armpit. But she not only tucks her hand in there, she begins wiggling her fingers around and I'm terribly ticklish! In between giggles, I had to tell her, "Katlynn, your Granny is never going to get to sleep while laughing." I felt bad. I keep meaning to ask Antigone how she stands it. (Mother Love, I'm sure.)
